We have a new and exciting position?for an?experienced Innovation Director?to join a company working across high end corporate company projects for a Digital and Tech Innovation Consulting company.
This?role will be fully remote however can only employ from the UK or Ireland and has no sponsorship therefore please only apply if you are in these locations.
The company develops digital products or ventures that address customer needs and help shape new strategic decisions and assess viability?and feasibility of Innovative ideas with work comprising rapid ideation and validation of solution?ideas and proposition?design.
- To?work closely with customers to understand their needs, driving innovation initiatives, and delivering customised solutions to achieve their business objectives
- To build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities
- To act as an advisor and a strategic partner to identify innovative solutions that address? specific needs
- To collaborate with? clients to define their innovation strategy and roadmap, aligning it with? business goals
- To identify areas for improvement, exploring new technologies, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance customer products, services, or processes
- To project manage by leading? customer innovation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
- To collaborate and project manage? teams, coordinating resources, and overseeing project execution while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders
- To conduct? thorough needs assessments and analysis to understand client requirements and pain points
- To work closely with cross functional teams, including business analysts, designers, and developers, to design innovative solutions and deliver value to the client
- To facilitate and collaborate engagement among various stakeholders, including internal teams, client representatives, and subject matter experts
- To manage? expectations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- To keep ahead? of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to customer innovation
- To conduct research , attend conferences, and stay updated on market developments to bring fresh and relevant perspectives to client projects
- To support the business development efforts by identifying new opportunities for customer innovation projects and collaborate with the sales team to create and present proposals, demonstrating the value proposition of innovative solutions to potential clients
- To take responsibility for the success of your team?
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE :
- 8+ years working within Digital Innovation within a consultancy / corporate innovation dept?
- Client facing experience / with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven background in innovation at a very senior level?
- Passionate about innovation and digital product development to turn strategic ideas into credible board level investment propositions?
- Expertise of? keeping ahead of market trends
- Experience of working with a client centric approach
- Experience of managing complex projects
- A high level of Business Acumen and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of? business fundamentals
- A strong collaborative approach across cross functional teams , stakeholders and clients?
- Solid experience within Business Development to include writing bid response and formal presentations
- A proven ability in driving creative solutions and a strong background in budget management?
- A systematic thinker with the ability to extract, learn and apply human-centred design thinking techniques to solve problems in a creative and innovative way
- Experience being able to execute tasks to the best of your ability working with your fellow colleagues across the group.
- To be able to learning from and work with other disciplines to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients
- Looking for flexibility with a willingness to travel to work with international clients
- Able to commit to commit to coaching and mentoring Innovation Consultants to excel in their roles?
- Ability to multi-task and context switch to oversee and input into multiple client engagements running concurrently
- A track record of driving and delivering innovation focused deliverables focused on new product development and proposition design?
- To to work independently and actively manage competing priorities
- To be proficient in Office365 Suite, Miro, and other digital tools used in innovation management
- To own the success of your team members and the company as a whole as part of your responsibility
- To be a proactive? in Innovation Consultant/Innovation Manager onboarding, coaching and mentoring
- A solid experience in managing people?
