In a survey asking recent graduates where they moved to for work after university, Glasgow placed as the joint top ranked UK city for student retention, keeping 51% of its graduates.


Innovator spotlight: Prof. Lee Cronin, University of Glasgow

Prof. Cronin is the Regius Professor of Chemistry at University of Glasgow. He leads the Cronin Group, whose research contributes to various applications such as developing materials for solar fuel devices to producing potential drug and drug delivery candidates.

A multi-award winner, Cronin has published over 450 papers, and given 560 lectures. He has one of the largest multidisciplinary chemistry-based research teams in the world, having raised over $35M in grants. Lee is also CEO of Chemify, which aims to digitise chemical code to enable drug discovery, chemical synthesis and materials discovery.


Hydrogen Innovation Centre to boost green energy development
