What is innovation? Some will say it is updating a product or service. Or maybe, changing a process or applying new procedures to make something more effective. How does innovation affect customer service? Good customer service has many interpretations. Ask the spectrum of ages and you will get very different responses. Different in what they think good customer service looks like. Well, what about what it feels like? How about we just focus on the outcome? How do you update service to make travelers just feel good after an employee interaction? How about we just take away the notion of customer service, and just create programs that focus on making employees happy and giving travelers a memorable experience.
