Innovation and the corporate strategy


To appreciate innovation and corporate strategy we need to follow the minds of Schumpeter (1934) when he was first to point out the importance of new value created by entrepreneurs through innovation. To bring this idea home (Africa context) we need to accept changes taking place since with evolving technological changes we have seen some Major breakthroughs that seem to be radical v/s disruptive impacting people, society and our businesses operations. Meaning we need to look at innovation and corporate strategy as a part of the “economic system in Africa” leading to introduction of new goods, introduction of new services, introduction of new models of production where we will be able to open new markets and sources of supply of our products and as whole Africa we will grow.In conclusion innovation and corporate strategy is;

lastly, it’s about being systematic in developing routines around innovation
