MDF is excited to share the news of the launch of #TakaNiMali, a Waste to Value Innovation Challenge for the Plastics value chain in Coastal Kenya. This initiative is being done in partnership with WWF-Kenya. Our primary objective is to provide advisory services to enterprises to help them become more profitable and sustainable while addressing the issue of plastic waste management in the Coastal region. We have teamed up with WWF-Kenya and handpicked nine plastic waste management enterprises based on their commitment to sustainability and innovative business models aimed at tackling the problem of plastic waste management in the coastal region.?

#TakaNiMali is an exemplary demonstration of how public-private partnerships can create a positive impact on the plastic waste management sector. By promoting responsible business practices, MDF is assisting entrepreneurs to generate employment opportunities while contributing to the bigger picture of sustainability in the sector. We understand the pressing need to address the plastic waste issue, and we are taking a circular economy approach to the plastics industry to solve this problem.?
