Innovating for Our Heroes: A Look at Our Purpose-Built Military Gear

In a world where precision and adaptability are paramount, our company has emerged as a beacon of innovation in the realm of military gear. From the inception of a simple solution during a flight to Alaska to offering over 300 purpose-built products, our journey has been one of dedication to our nation’s heroes.

1. The Birth of Innovation: A Flight to Remember

It all started on the flight from San Diego to Alaska when Zach Steinbock and I developed our first product together. During this eight-hour flight, we sat in the back of a C-130 yelling and screaming at each other, trying to develop a new cargo net for the 463L pallet. Then 4 years later, in 2010 we officially launched MATBOCK. Now 13 years later, we have been able to bring over 350 products to the market.

2. Supporting the Best: Special Operations Forces and Beyond

Being that Zach and I both served as Navy SEALs, our products were developed to support SOF but over the last few years, we have been able to expand our customer base into other units. Currently, we have multiple products being evaluated for adoption by the US Army, US Air Force, US Marine Corps, and other large international units as well.

3. Tarsier Eclipse: Night Vision Evolution

The Tarsier Eclipse ? is the most advanced Night Vision Goggle (NVG) accessory on the market, allowing the operator to see objects from 3" to infinity at the same time and without loss of clarity. It incorporates a smooth action and a high-performance optical iris that can quickly be adjusted depending on the amount of ambient light.? Additionally, the?Tarsier Eclipse ? offers a high-quality Corning Glass sacrificial lens that can quickly be replaced without tools. The sacrificial lens serves as a critical piece of protection for your NVG lenses, shielding them from dust, dirt, or scratching that may cause expensive repairs and potential downtime.?

4. S-LIFT: A Litter Born from Necessity

During a combat mission outside of Baghdad, Iraq our unit came under fire as we were foot patrolling roughly 1km from our target location. Our partner force immediately collapsed and gave up to leave us to protect ourselves. My guys, without hesitation, immediately secured our area and started clearly surrounding buildings while myself and our Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC) started administering Tactical Combat Casualty Care?(TCCC) procedures to save his life. During this mission, we had a significantly reduced American presence which left me as the ground force commander (GFC), primary radioman, and main person trying to save his life.?

During the flight home from this mission, I sat and thought about how we already carrying a bag to collect Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE) and it hit me that we could add a zipper down the side and bottom so it could open to be a poleless litter. After cleaning up from the mission, I called Zach back in the States and he and I started brainstorming how this system of products would work together. This was the start of the LIFT System which is now the industry leader for medical rescue.

5. Made in America: A Commitment to Quality

Conclusion:
