Innovating Office Space Cost Estimation with Level Workspace

In the dynamic landscape of office real estate, Level has positioned itself as a client-centric firm, prioritising the needs of tenants over property owners. Our recent collaboration with Level on a marketing initiative has not only armed their clientele with pivotal insights for selecting and securing prime office spaces but has also reinforced Level's stature as a vanguard in the domain.

Challenge

The challenge in the office market, especially in prominent urban centres like London and Manchester, lies in the scarcity of accessible, precise, and current data on office space costs. This lack of information hinders informed decision-making for businesses in pursuit of suitable office rentals.


Objective

Our objective was to transcend this information gap by devising a digital solution that not only simplifies cost estimation for prospective clients but also serves as a strategic tool for Level to capture essential user data, further nurturing the sales dialogue. The solution entailed:


  • 1. The development of an advanced calculator capable of delivering rapid and accurate cost estimates, factoring in variables such as location, lease type, tenure, and additional specifications.
  • 2. The creation of an intuitive landing page, serving as the primary interface for the calculator, designed with user engagement in mind.
  • 3. Implementation of mechanisms for user data acquisition, facilitating ongoing engagement and relationship building.
  • 4. Positioning Level as the thought leader and go-to authority in the office space sector.


Process that led to the delivery of calculator?

The process from concept to launch spanned over three weeks, concluding in a tool that has become a cornerstone of Level's marketing and sales strategy, further solidifying their industry leadership.


Step 1: Discovery Phase: The project objectives and functions were fully scoped after two discovery sessions with multiple 1:1 follow ups in between?

Step 2: Creating Wireframes: To visualise the calculator's structure and key functions for different devices and screen sizes, we developed multiple wireframes.??

Step 3: Development of the calculator: Together with Level's team, we created an embedded calculator tool that contains all necessary logic and design.??

Step 4: Design: Based on client’s brand guidelines and early agreements around scope of work in discovery phase, we developed high fidelity design, with great focus on user experience and lead generation.?

Step 5: DNS/CNAME Configuration: Our team set up DNS entries to enable seamless connection between the calculation tool and clients' website??

Step 6: Analytics: The landing page was equipped with analytics that allowed the client to see how the landing page is performing??

Step 7: Project handoff: After we finalized the project, we provided Level's team with instructions for managing the calculator page, so that they can update it as needed.??

Decisions we made along the way

Throughout this project, we prioritised efficiency, timeliness, and budget adherence through strategic decisions.

For the calculator, we opted for a ready-made solution, customised to maintain client confidentiality while ensuring rapid development and seamless integration with Level's branding.

In the design phase, thorough discovery sessions and wireframing allowed us to finalise details early, preventing any unexpected changes later. We utilised Webflow for the landing page, enabling us to implement design updates swiftly—often in minutes, not hours. This approach not only expedited delivery but also facilitated multiple iterations.

Effective communication and a steady pace were key to maintaining project momentum. Regular updates and coordination within a dedicated WhatsApp group ensured that all team members stayed aligned, allowing us to meet project milestones consistently.


Final remarks


Since we're just at the beginning of this campaign's journey, we'll be sharing the results achieved by Level's team in the upcoming months. In the meantime, both myself and the Scalewise team will continue to support Level as they expand their business.
