Innovating with Ofcom's Data
Ofcom Innovation Workshop - LEEDS
Thursday 15 March 2018
9:30am - 5:00pm
Sign up : Eventbrite.
Ofcom is the UK's communications regulator, covering TV, radio, on-demand services, landline and mobile telecoms, and the postal service. They are already producing a brilliant array of open data - industry complaints, broadband and mobile coverage, media literacy, mass marketing postal figures, and much more - that is ripe for analysis and development. There is more they would like to do. You can help guide the future release of open datasets or use open data to create a service for consumers or design an app that helps raise awareness of mobile coverage and the best value packages to encourage consumers to save money.
This 1-day innovation workshop follows the three open sessions held throughout the UK - in Leeds, Cardiff, Edinburgh. Particular challenges or topics were identified at the open sessions and will be pitched to attendees at the workshop. Attendees are also welcome to bring along their own challenges or topics for further discussion.
