McCain Foods is making another investment in innovation.

Today, we are announcing our support of a brand that we have long followed and admired — Strong Roots, a plant-based frozen food company that makes a range of cauliflower hash browns, mixed root vegetable fries, bites and burgers.

We see a lot of the entrepreneurial spirit that has been key to McCain’s growth since its founding in 1957 in Strong Roots. Our companies share a passionate focus on creating delicious food, a goal that has earned McCain a place at mealtimes for generations.??

We hold that spot at the table near and dear, and with investments like the one we have made in Strong Roots, we are continuing to innovate to ensure our business meets the changing demands of our customers and consumers who are looking for food that is delicious, but also healthier and planet-friendly.

With a focus on creating products that are sustainably farmed, shipped and sold, Strong Roots was the first Irish plant-based food business awarded a B Corp Certificate in 2020.
