Innovate For Employment Cohort 2 Demo Day

On 11th October 2024, we celebrated a transformative milestone as Cohort 2 of the Innovate4Employment program completed their journey, marking a powerful shift from education to meaningful employment and entrepreneurship. This cohort, comprising 28 ambitious and driven young graduates, joined our program with a shared goal: to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application, equipping themselves with the skills needed to thrive in today’s competitive workforce.

The results? Nothing short of inspiring. Eighteen participants have already secured full-time employment with industry-leading organizations, while two others have taken the bold step into entrepreneurship, launching their own ventures with the confidence and know-how gained from the program. This success reflects not only their individual determination but also the program's impact in fostering readiness for real-world challenges.

A Transformative 8-Week Journey

Over the past 8 weeks, Innovate4Employment provided these graduates with intensive, hands-on internships in partnership with leading organizations. Each participant was paired with a host organization where they could apply their skills, observe professional environments firsthand, and tackle real-world projects. From day one, these young innovators were guided by mentors and engaged in meaningful tasks beyond typical intern roles.

Armed with design thinking and problem-solving skills honed in the program, participants weren’t just observers; they were contributors. They were given the tools to dissect complex challenges, ideate innovative solutions, and collaborate effectively with professionals in various fields through project-based learning.

From Bold Ideas to Real-World Solutions

Each participant worked closely with their host organizations to address pressing challenges in areas like operational efficiency, product development, and customer engagement.
