The session on September 4th will be filled with knowledge and opportunities, featuring many globally recognized names for their actions and dreams. As is now customary, this event will begin with a welcome speech from its creator, Laura Chicurel , followed immediately by the first international speaker to kick off the evening: none other than James Mawson , founder and CEO of Mawsonia , the media company that produces Global Corporate Venturing and Global University Venturing . According to its founder own words, these are “two trade groups providing news, data, and training on how companies, governments, and higher research institutes can support and invest in entrepreneurial third parties and their internal startups.” With a combined experience of more than 30 years in innovation and two books on the subject, this expert exemplifies the level that Innova Summit has reached in its 5 years of existence.
The next international speaker on the list will be Jorge Gerardo Cervantes Huitron , CFO of Grupo Flecha Amarilla a major Mexican company dedicated to transportation, parcel and courier services, tourism, and food for the past 7 years.
Following him will be Taila Lemos , CVC Senior Business Analyst for Vale, a global mining company producing iron ore, pellets, and nickel, and also, she is the founder of Agrobiomarkers , an agritech company that aims to contribute to more productive, profitable, and sustainable agriculture.
Next to take the stage will be Fabrini Fontes , Chief Investment Officer at Experian, a global leader in big data and analytics. He is responsible for the Strategy Office and structuring inorganic activity in Latin America. Additionally, he was responsible for implementing and developing Experian's Corporate Venture Capital program in Latam.
Juan Pablo Sánchez Gnecchi Founder and CEO of Bluebox , will be the next international speaker on the 2024 agenda, and will be presenting the much-anticipated “Innova Awards.”
Sebastian Gonzalez G. a professional with more than 15 years of experience in innovation and Head of Corporate Venturing & Innovation Services at Wayra - Telefonica Open Innovation, will open the second block with a CVC report from Latam. He will also be the last speaker of the morning session.
For the afternoon session, we have Rosa Madera Nú?ez founder and manager of Empatthy, a significant venture philanthropy initiative dedicated to helping companies, family businesses, individual donors, foundations, and entities achieve their maximum social and environmental impact effectively.

The next speaker will be Angel Bonet president and founder of Impact Co.mpany, the first advisory firm for entrepreneurs specializing in social impact and innovation. With over two decades of experience, a book, and a startup launched two years ago, he helps companies of all sizes and sectors adapt to change and generate value for society, combining knowledge in marketing, technology, and positive impact.
The next international speaker of the afternoon will be the American Bryce Goodman Chief Strategist, AI & Machine Learning, at the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), the only U.S. Department of Defense organization dedicated to leveraging commercial technology for national security across the joint forces. Goodman oversees the technical program development and strategy for a suite of large-scale projects in the AI/ML portfolio, with a particular focus on applying AI/ML for humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, health, and counter-disinformation efforts.
The penultimate international speaker on this first day of the event will be Gus Huerta Vargas a private investor focused on companies with high potential for technological transformation. He is also the founder and president of Bluebox. His strategic approach and deep industry knowledge have made him a valuable advisor to renowned companies, and he has been recognized as one of the 50 most important entrepreneurs in Mexico by Mundo Ejecutivo magazine and one of the 30 Business Promises by Forbes.
To close this amazing day, the last speaker will be Paulo Beck CEO of GROW+, a premium startup accelerator for scale-up companies, and President-in-Office of HealthPlus Ventures and the HealthPlus and AgroPlus Cluster, and a life time dedicated to the startup and innovation industries.
If this list alone doesn’t convince you to do everything humanly possible to attend this event, I honestly don’t know what will. And this is just the first day of the event; we’ll see what other people and stories the agenda has in store for the second day, and here we’ll be to give you more reasons why you can’t miss it out.
