Innofest 2019 Reflections - HR Tech, and space for growth

I was extremely fortunate to have been invited to Innofest 2019 this year, learning and trying out the latest technology of today.  

Through various conversations with industry leaders over the past few years, I grew intrigued with what I saw at the festival, particularly in the area of HR Tech. Visiting multiple booths specializing in HR Tech, one notices the clear bias of the industry towards

1) assisting more effective recruitment, networking

OR

2) managing welfare, benefits and rewards.

However, an apparent gap within the space was the lack of HR Tech focusing on helping individuals achieve success in the learning and development space.  

This begs the question?

How can one provide streamlined learning and development services, through the use of of HR technology, while at the same addressing diverse individual needs?

To me, a technology as such should be carefully designed to include the following:

 1)  A diverse set of tools, activities for customizing one’s learning experience

2)  Interactive and engaging, encouraging personal ownership in one's career

3)  A system to track and document staff development to justify return of investments

4)   Platform that is easy to use and navigate

This is exactly what the BOLDly platform hopes to deliver for its users, and change what it means to own your own personal development.

This is why I am extremely excited to announce I will be be working on a brand new HR Tech platform BOLDly, developed by Lanterne Rouge to help support careers of individuals in organizations to connect with their peers, their supervisors, and coaches from around the world. Individuals can now take ownership of their career and learning, defining their future success in their own terms.
