Pepe was dragged behind a car as a sick form of punishment. He is brutally injured. Every hour we can give him intensive medical care counts.
Pepe is a street dog who ran after a group of children throwing stones at him. He was captured, cruelly tied to the back of a car and mercilessly dragged along a road, causing horrific wounds. He was found bleeding and in what could only be the most agonizing pain; his cries were blood-curdling.
Pepe is now in intensive care, extremely weak. Our team is doing everything we can to pull him through, but he requires expensive round-the-clock medical care. Every hour counts in our fight to save Pepe.

Pepe’s life is hanging by a thread, but he’s still with us and fighting hard. He is in constant pain and yowling in agony, but he does have a real chance of survival. When he was rescued, he was too weak to even lift his head to drink. Now he is managing that small task alone.
The biggest immediate challenge is that Pepe has to be nursed round the clock, and Jordan has just re-entered a strict COVID-19 lockdown which makes providing the specialized care Pepe needs enormously challenging. Every hour we can give him intensive medical care counts and, so far, our team is managing. We promise, we will do every single thing we can do to give Pepe a chance of life.
