Dallas-based broadband company rebrands as it expands fiber access across DFW DALLAS, TX (November 8, 2022) -- InnerCity FiberNet is proud to announce that it has become Gigabit Fiber. Over the past twenty years, the company has grown exponentially, and that growth has inspired an updated identity that better aligns itself with its values and future ambitions. Along with this rebranding, Tom Spackman has assumed the role Chief Executive Officer.

Just last month, Gigabit Fiber completed construction on a major fiber expansion across the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. This new multi-conduit underground system will enable next generation services in the cities of Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Desoto Red Oak, Lancaster, Wilmer and Midlothian.

“This new 60-mile network expansion augments our existing deep fiber infrastructure servicing many of the largest carriers, enterprises and ‘hyperscalers’ operating in greater Dallas,” said Spackman. “This high-count fiber system will enable next generation services, including 5G and cloud computing.
