Inner Strength and Women Empowerment: Say No to Gender Based Violence
Dear World,
As 25 of Nov was the start of #16days of activism against gender-based violence, let me express my full support for this cause throughout this post.
Women are delivering multiple roles effortlessly every single day, and are definitely the backbone of each society. They were born with an unlimited inner strength which is always reflected by them being doting daughters, caring mothers, competent colleagues and a various range of many other roles that they play flawlessly and with grace.
Each one of us is beautiful in her own way, and nurturing our inner strength, creativity and self-esteem is essential for us to pass the walks of life. Don't accept violence and the most important factor is that don't be afraid to raise your voice and say "No" to violence.
With this base well established, we will be able to go out into the world, and handle any challenge with skills, confidence and grace. Many of us have reached the forefront, where they become agents of peace and positive social change for themselves, their families, other women and their society. Thus, it's our responsibility to raise the voice in any way possible and refuse this catastrophe.
I’m writing this today as a reminder to my own self and to each women who is reading this article to refuse being abused or mistreated. Always boost your inner strength, stand strong for yourself, the person that you long to be, fight for your rights and work hard to make your dreams come true.
I believe that each woman should empower the other, and don't think that I'm excluding men from this equation. When both genders unite, understand each other, support each other, and live in harmony; families will become stronger, generations with better ethical attitude will be raised; hence societies will flourish.
Today, the collaboration between both genders will result in raising awareness on this global pandemic that is tearing families and societies apart.
I choose to refuse any kind of violence practiced against women. What is your choice?
