Inner Peace
“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.” - Gautama Buddha
If we are safe and at peace on the inside, we will be safe and at peace on the outside.
Inner peace (self-awareness...self-assurance) is having enough knowledge and understanding of our 'self' to keep us strong in the face of disagreements, arguments or stress.
For some this comes from prayer, for some meditation and for others just resting peacefully and relaxing in a quiet place. For some from all of these.
The secret and struggle of achieving inner peace is just making the time to seek it...to work on it. Like exercise it is something we must do regularly.
Steps...
· Be patient...it takes time.
· Learn to keep things simple.
· Be positive.
· Have pride in yourself.
· Take care of yourself
· See beauty
· Slow down.
· Pray, meditate, exercise.
And always remember this…
