Inner Game and Business Agility both share a similar natural sequence for increasing the speed of the flow of ideas between brains

Business Agility practices and the Inner Game learning approach developed by Tim Gallwey both work by encouraging us to regularly observe and respond as we move to our desired outcome. The clarity with which we observe and respond determines the quality and speed of our learning and therefore of our outcomes.
There is a natural sequence to observing and responding which helps us achieve better outcomes. Whether are working alone or collaborating, the sequence is very similar.
?First, we focus on ourselves…
1.??????We learn to develop awareness and observation that is non-judgmental
2.??????There is an automatic shift of attention to what is relevant for our subconscious mind to attend to
3.??????This leads to an increase in focus and a reduction in any interference, internal or external
4.??????And so we are fully present to the variables that really matter – the critical variables
5.??????We gain full clarity around the choices available to us. As we iterate towards the outcome we identify which options are relevant, and which options could interfere
6.??????Therefore we attain a high quality of decision-making, problem-solving, creativity, skill and innovation
7.??????We then observe the results of our efforts, again non-judgmentally
8.??????We loop back to point 1. until our both our Inner outcome and outer outcome is achieved. The outer outcome is the high quality completion of a task within an acceptable time frame. The inner outcome is the learning we gained toward our continuing evolution as people.?
Secondly, we focus on collaboration and how to increase the speed of the flow of ideas between brains so we can increase the speed and quality of the outcomes…
?1.??????We start with non-judgmental communication
a.?We develop non-judgmental listening, which is without any assumptions or expectations (we do this by choosing what we are listening for). We embrace any feedback we receive as an additional opportunity to understand
b.??????We also develop focused speaking, which is clear, respectful, and relevant to the agreed upon objective (there is a reduction in unfocused, incoherent talking)
2.??????Our focus increases because we become interested and curious
3.??????There is therefore a natural reduction in our self-interference (our inner chatter we experience while someone else is communicating, which is often made up of us preparing to answer, trying to protect a certain image people have of you, defensiveness or being judgmental)

4.??????The reduction of self-interference increases our awareness of the whole conversation and all the contributions. A natural selecting process of the variables that really matter takes place
5.??????We all gain clarity of our choices which are relevant to the outcome
6.??????There is an increase in the quality of ideas (decision, solutions, innovations)
7.??????We observe the results of our efforts and have a non-judgmental discussion about them
8.??????We loop back to 1.a. and 1.b. until the desired outcome is achieved. The outer outcome is the high-quality completion of a task within an acceptable time frame. The inner outcome is the learning we gained toward our continuing evolution as people, and as a team

With the help of a coach we can get a better understanding of both the Inner Game learning techniques and the Business Agility approaches to doing work, which will help us to move more quickly into the sequence flows described above.
The latest iteration on the adoption approach...
Business Agility is figuring out the most effective way of delivering exceptional outcomes within valid constraints.
This is possible through increasing the speed of the flow of ideas between brains.
Which is achieved by adopting and practicing the relevant Key Elements of Business Agility while tackling existing challenges and solving existing problems, using your current work as your classroom.
Focus on the Element(s) which are relevant to you right now, and learn them by applying them to the current problem.
Could it work for you?
