If any of my LinkedIn connections are wondering just what exactly my new start-up venture, I am hoping to get going this year - below is a brief description.
The office of Management & Budget posts all open government contracts for bidding online (they are required to by law.) The only contracts they cannot post for public access are those that are considered closed, for example defense contracts, or other contracts contacting government sensitive information - these are contracts are called closed bidding contracts such as military contracts only available to a select few private businesses that have clearance to submit a bid on them i.e. Lockie Martin, Northrup who bid on contracts to build weaponry for the US Military etc.
My niche market is the 21 to 23 percent that OMB wants to award to small business owners. Most of these owners don't have the time, energy, knowledge, or resources to bid on these open contracts.
I.E. I had a message from one LinkedIn connection that only wants to deal in DOD contracts. My app and website would automatically send his company push notifications to these types of contracts that his organization meets specific criteria of the contract being awarded (this is done by data mining,) which would match data of the contract to data of organizations, right down to geographical location etc.
Now there are other website that offer information about contracts to be awarded and they can help you submit a bid etc. give you updated information on the status of your bid - but some charge up to $900 a year and or you must purchase their software.
My app/website business model is the only one, that would match your organization to within a top 90 percent matching criteria.
My app is the only one that offers you the ability to apply for new licences, (federal, state, and local.)
My app is the only app that automatically matches your organization and the contract for bidding (with vendors, transportation companies, etc.) that would supply you with materials you may need to be awarded the contract (this gives the non-governmental business owner,) the availability to communicate with vendors in real time, and to be able to negotiate the best price etc. for materials. Thus, giving them the best ability in submitting their competitive bid for the contract.
My app is the only app that offers online Zoom workshops for small business owners to be able to renew and apply for licenses (federal, state, and local,) such as having employees applying for and writing a test to obtain a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) are laws, created in 1988 to: give employers and workers information about the hazardous products or chemicals they may be exposed to at work.
My app is the only app that is available in a second languages such as Spanish & French.
My app is the only app, which would suggest contracts, that a small business owners, which may not have even thought of applying for based on data.
My app website is the only app that supplies currency conversions (rates,) so that a small business owner who must order supplies from Mexico/Canada etc. can budget and submit a real time competitive bid on a contract.
My app is also the only app that matches your organization to all contracts open for bidding at all 3 levels of government Federal, State/Provincial and Local (currently business owners must research and apply for each one individually.) As well as matching your small offices (overseas or in Mexico & Canada,) with contracts available based on that country's criteria and your organization availability to match these criteria. matching it (for example transportation companies have offices in the US, Canada & Mexico.)
My app website is the only app/website that would offer and simplify the bidding/application process in a way NOBODY IS DOING NOW.
I am an idea guy; I look at problems and I say WHY NOT.
As far as revenue generated, I believe and know that my app/website INK Group would be greater than Uber and Airbnb, because revenue would come from two streams.
1.) The Governments Awarding the Contracts (because of the reduce costs in time, energy, and waste, they would save.)
2.) The individual business owner who would use the app/website in applying for these contracts, also saving them time, energy, and waste in the application process.
