I have the Motorola Edge 50 Neo and would like to share my initial impressions, which reveal more advantages than disadvantages.
Advantages:
1. Flat display: Reduced risk of accidental touch and lower maintenance costs in terms of the price of tempered glass.
2. Equipped with a telephoto lens at an affordable price point of approximately INR 23,000. It is rare to have a telephoto at this price point. Some camera samples are seen here.
3. Offers wireless charging capability, a notable feature in this price range.
4. The device boasts an IP68 rating, indicating its resistance to dust and water.
5. Motorola's commitment to sustainability is evident in the plastic-free packaging and the provision of 5+5 years of software and security updates. Additionally, it meets military grade-810H certification standards.

6. Remarkably, the device features an LTPO pOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate at a price point of approximately INR 23,000. This is segment's best display in my opinion.
7. Supports 68W fast charging, enabling the phone to charge from 0-80% in approximately 35 minutes and 0-100% in approximately 48 minutes.
8. The clean software experience without bloatware looks very minimal and clean.
Disadvantages:
1. While the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor is adequate, competitors offer devices with more powerful processors from MediaTek and Qualcomm at similar price points.
2. The pictures captured from this device are a bit over-saturated. Motorola should fix this via an update if possible.
Motorola has experienced remarkable growth in India, achieving triple-digit annual increases in recent quarters, as revealed by TechInsights research. This success is not limited to India alone; the company has also demonstrated impressive performance in various markets, including Central and Latin America, as well as the Middle East and Africa, etc. Having thoroughly evaluated Motorola's product offerings, I have gained a profound understanding of the reasons behind their success. The vendor's growth is attributed to several significant product launches across various price ranges and improvements in various specifications.
