The Double Standards of Eating In vs Eating Out
Well, here we are at home craving our favorite plate, mug or cup of something we normally go out for.
We try to make these items at home, but find ourselves applying our at-home standards and unable to break past the barrier of using real butter, heavy cream, egg yolks, lots of salt and sugar. That's what the restaurants use and why it tastes so good, but we are somehow blissfully ignorant of that when we enjoy it while we are out (probably on purpose).
