V-Soft Consulting is seeking an Infrastructure Business Development Manager to join our in-house team and play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving sales by offering customized infrastructure consulting solutions. In this position, you will engage potential clients, build and nurture long-term relationships, and present tailored solutions to address their specific IT infrastructure needs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and a passion for delivering value through IT infrastructure services.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: Identify and establish relationships with potential clients, maintaining strong, ongoing connections with key decision-makers.
- Solution Selling: Understand client infrastructure challenges and present tailored solutions, including network architecture, cloud services, cybersecurity, data center solutions, and IT management.
- Sales Strategy Development: Partner with sales and delivery teams to develop and implement a strategic sales plan, including market analysis, targeting potential clients, and developing customized proposals.
- Pipeline Management: Generate and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation, outreach, and consistent follow-up.
- Presentations and Demos: Lead presentations and product demos, clearly communicating the value and benefits of V-Soft’s infrastructure consulting services.
- Contract Negotiation: Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both clients and V-Soft, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Market Insights: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in IT infrastructure to effectively position V-Soft’s solutions in the marketplace.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with consulting teams, technical experts, and other departments to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet client needs and business objectives.
- Proposal Writing: Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling responses to RFPs and contribute to the pursuit of new business opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (preferred).
- Proven experience in IT sales or consulting, particularly within infrastructure services (networking, cloud, data centers).
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure services such as network architecture, cloud computing (AWS, Azure), cabling, cybersecurity, and data center management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend relevant industry events.
- Experience with Bullhorn or similar CRM tools for pipeline and relationship management.
- Familiarity with sales tools such as ZoomInfo, Appollo, and LinkedIn for prospecting and market analysis.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure frameworks and best practices (e.g., ITIL, ISO standards).
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are a plus.
