InfosecTrain's Tabir Ahmad Shares His Inspiring Story

Meet Tabir Ahmad, a Marketing Team (IT Development) member at InfosecTrain, who believes learning is the key to success. Let’s catch up with the “2022 Stand-out Contributor-IT Award” winner Tabir Ahmad to learn more about what knowledge, expertise, and resources are necessary to advance IT Development in the technological days, work environment, and what is ahead.

1.What sparked your interest in this particular profession?

My fascination with coding and IT development knowledge to learn more about them piqued my interest in this particular profession. During my graduation days, I was very fascinated by coding. And that time, I also worked on an antivirus project, which was the main turning point in my career, and naturally led me to this profession. I am also interested in working on .NET.

2. When did you realize acquiring a job here was the right move?

I joined InfosecTrain in August 2021 and continued working from home. Once I was here, it just felt right.?

3. What is something that was unique to this place?

I would say the helping team members and the work culture makes this organization unique. Everyone is very creative and supportive here. It is a great joy to have RD as my team member; he is very supportive and helpful and guides me like a family member whenever something comes, and I require direction. He is always there for me.

4. What would you say about your role in the company?

As a part of IT Developer in the Marketing Team, my primary responsibilities are maintaining websites, portal updated action, generating certification reports, and maintaining LMS courses and webinars.

5. What is something special about your line of work that you have learned?

As my previous work experience differs from this profession, I have learned various new things, and it continues. I have learned certification publication algorithms and WordPress and am still learning new things. I firmly believe that learning is the key to success.

6. Describe a professional role model who has inspired you.

I wouldn't specify a particular person because everyone teaches me something and inspires me. I like to share one incident with you when I was stuck with my task, and Vipul sir guided me very efficiently through it. His professional skills in handling situations and doing everything efficiently motivates me a lot.

7. What about your job energizes and drains you?

I am energized by learning new things and offering solutions and ideas at work. Although it would be an exaggeration to claim that this is the most draining aspect of my job, I would describe not obtaining any solutions as frustrating sometimes.

8. What has boosted your confidence?

I would say the knowledge and skills I have gained boosted my confidence. And I believe your work and expertise directly impact your confidence, which will rise as you learn new things and gain more experience.

9. Describe a time at work that you particularly enjoy.

I believe that if you enjoy what you do, you will enjoy every minute of it. One particular moment I considered special was when I created a unique certification algorithm portal.

10. What qualities most stand out about the folks you work with?

Working with colleagues who are consistently kind, helpful, understanding, and reachable when I need them makes me feel privileged. Everyone is honest when sharing their innovative concepts and feedback with one another.

11. What keeps you positive and motivated throughout the day?

I love my job, and my interest in learning new things keeps me motivated.

12. How has your recent work-life balance been?

I'd think it's now balanced. Life is more manageable and balanced when there is no work pressure, a friendly work environment, or no deadlines during the weekend.

14. Do you believe your career is progressing?

Yes, because I've progressed a lot and am continuing to grow. And I believe that learning is a simple way to progress.
