Meet Sheena Gaur, a member of the sales team at InfosecTrain. Let's catch up with the inspiring story of our independent and enthusiastic colleague Sheena Gaur revealed about her workplace.

1.What sparked your interest in this particular profession?

I have done my PGDM in Marketing, and then I began my career as a Sales Executive. Daily, I have to interact with many professionals, students, and tech aspirants to understand their career requirements and guide them in choosing a suitable career path. For me, Sales Executive is a challenging role that sparked my interest in this profession, where I found my ability to close the deal within the deadline.

2. When did you realize acquiring a job here was the right move?

My career as a Sales Executive began with an Ed-tech company. My previous companies are all related to the Ed-Tech field. While going through my LinkedIn feed, I found a job opening as a Sales Executive at InfosecTrain, an Ed-Tech company in Cybersecurity and Information security. I thought that I could be a good fit for this company.

3. What is something that was unique to this place?

At InfosecTrain, we all act as a support team for each other. Trainers, Sales, Supports and Operations, Marketing, Account, HR, everyone is very cooperative. Irrespective of the department, we all work hand-in-hand, readily helping each other. As a result, InfosecTrain can advance the career path of IT aspirants.

4. What would you say about your role in the company?

I'm an inside sales executive, I get leads from the Marketing team, and I even generate some leads from LinkedIn. I have added all my clients over LinkedIn; sometimes, I get profile references from my existing clients. It represents that my clients are satisfied with InfosecTrain and my services in providing career counseling. I arrange a Tech call, and then I close the deal.

5. What is something special about your line of work that you have learned?

Sales have taught me not only to handle clients but also to create a relationship where clients can trust me and my decision to guide them on a career path that adds value to their career.

6. Describe a professional role model who has inspired you.

My parents are my role model because they are very supportive of me in whatever I want to achieve. My father, a businessman, balances his personal and professional time simultaneously, and my mother is a homemaker, and she takes care of everything.

7. What about your job energizes and drains you?

When I can achieve my target within the deadline and my clients are satisfied with the training, it really energizes me. Later, I receive references from my clients, representing that they readily believe me and my decision, so I ensure to guide them on the right career path. When I cannot achieve my target, I do get exhausted.

8. What has boosted your confidence?

When I get appreciated for my work, that ultimately boosts my confidence. Two months ago, I achieved my target far before the deadline. It was a one-month target, but I acquired it in 15 days. I was appreciated by my team and management, which boosted my confidence.

9. Describe a time at work that you particularly enjoy.

In Sales, I enjoy every time of my work, starting from generating a lead, understanding their career requirement, guiding them with the right career path, and closing the deal. I enjoy the whole process of this, which not only helps me to generate revenue but also helps me?learn and understand the objectives of the training program.

10. What qualities most stand out about the folks you work with?

At InfosecTrain, everybody will come together to help you, irrespective of the department you work in. I'm in Sales, and I can reach out to the trainers, Accounts, and Support to get information about a course.

11. What are you most proud of?

As I said, I achieved my target in 15 days, it was the highest target that I accomplished recently. It was my proudest moment.

12. What keeps you positive and motivated throughout the day?

In Sales, I get challenges; I'll be happy when I serve them accordingly. I get motivated when I close a challenging task. I can provide a good career path and guide people in advancing their career according to their profile and background, which motivates me throughout the day.

13. How has your recent work-life balance been?

Yes, of course, InfosecTrain is organized in such a way with dedicated timing, which helps me to manage and balance my professional and personal life. I'm exploring new things every day to enhance my skills and abilities.

14. Do you believe your career is progressing?

Yes, I believe that my career is progressing at InfosecTrain. I have learned much and improved my strengths and abilities to provide the best. I continue to learn and explore new streams that help me to guide my leads to the right career path.
