COVID-19 - Informed Guidance and Resource Matching: an effort by over 300 Houston volunteers
Now over 300 volunteers strong, the enventure COVID-19 response has put together an online resource for providers, makers, and hospitals. The grassroots volunteer effort lead under the umbrella of community non-profit enventure has turned into a centralized resource for the city of Houston and further. Validation testing has been set up to ensure the safety of the developed products, procurement and supply chains were identified to ensure quick deployment and delivery once ready, and all of this was done by volunteers.
On this resource, providers can place supply requests with the community and evaluate designs available; makers can find resources for testing requirements and regulations for PPE, ventilators and more; and volunteers can pitch in!
This is a grassroots effort by the community to support our hospitals and providers in the shared challenge of fighting COVID-19. It is driven by volunteers who seek to make solutions available to hospitals for free or at cost, to ensure that price is not a barrier to getting providers the equipment they need. To do so, the effort relies on donations - consider supporting us below!
