Job Purpose
Manage the IT Service Desk and be the first line of contact for all IT Support. Installation of LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems. Preserving the work flow through supervising, analyzing, problem solving, and avoiding the reoccurrence of those problems. Ensuring the servers work. Besides, making sure of the safety of the company's system and facilitating reaching the system of the company.
Main Duties
- Support LANs, WANs, Internet, and branch operations
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users at the IT helpdesk
- Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users. This will involve raising support cases with the relevant service providers
- Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Follow up the monthly replacement plan for the laptops, desktops and devices
- Support in purchase of needed IT devices, equipment, accessories as approved by the head of IT
Qualifications
· Bachelor of information technology
· 1-3 years of experience
· Excellent command of English language both written and spoken.
· Proficiency with MS – Office, in particular MS – Excel is mandatory.
· Analytical skills
· Result oriented
· Communication skills- verbal and written
