Information Overload – Combatting the Autoimmune Misinformation

Information Overload – Combatting the Autoimmune Misinformation

Where do you even start? What do you cut out? What do you do first? How long should you do this before giving up if you don’t see a chance? You feel like a burden asking for help. You feel like a burden asking to invest in getting the help you need. Or maybe you don’t know where to look because every time you search for answers, you’re made to feel fat, lazy, and crazy.

But, whether you keep putting yourself last or you don’t know where to look for help, you’ll probably try it yourself for a while. Go from weird diet to weird diet, supplement to supplement. Let’s be real though, do you actually ever remember to take them as instructed and never feel like you get a grip on your hormones?

Your Hashimoto’s stays the same or maybe gets worse. Your PCOS stays the same or maybe gets worse. Your non-existent confidence, self-esteem, and sex drive continue to strain your relationship, not because of your husband but because you feel guilty your husband has to deal with it. You continue to wake up exhausted, find hair everywhere, and need another size up in jeans without even eating much. All you have is all this free information swirling around your feed. But, you can’t read motivational quotes and hope for the best, for forever.

So, what’s it going to be? Are you finally going to reach out and let me try and help you sort through the funk, not just for you, but for your whole family? I mean, you don’t have to, I get lots of inquiries. I’m not desperate to “get” you. I’d take joy in helping you as someone who writes these posts from 16 years of personal experience, and an 80 pound weight loss, a head of long hair for the first time ever, and finally a clear complexion. As someone who built insane self-confidence and self-esteem before those results ever happened I’d love to try and help. Only if you’ve had enough of the over-information load cycle of torture I see my cysters and Hashi hunnies go through needlessly, that is.
