The First Company of the week is Genialis. They have recently completed $13 million in Series A.
Founded in 2015 by CEO Rafael Rosengarten.Genialis are a computational precision medicines company unravelling complex biology to find new ways to address disease. Their mission is to deliver benefit and hope to patients and their families. Their method is to leverage biomedical data and advanced analytics to help pharma companies develop more effective drugs with higher probability of clinical success, and diagnostics companies to deploy tests that lead to better treatment decisions.
Genialis is growing its teams in both the U.S. and Slovenia across business, operations, life science and data science functions and expanding its advisory boards. The company is also investing in R&D collaborations with several leading cancer centre's, hospital groups, and clinical academic labs.

Mission Bio X Fulgent Genetics
Mission Bio a pioneer in high-throughput single-cell DNA and multi-omics analysis, on Tuesday announced that it has entered into an agreement with Fulgent Genetics a technology-based company with well-established clinical diagnostic and therapeutic development businesses. Fulgent Genetics is now able to offer single-cell multi-omics on the Tapestri Platform on its fully customizable menu of services, including whole genome, whole exome, RNA sequencing, tumour profiling, methylation sequencing, liquid biopsy, single-cell sequencing, spatial biology, and pathology services to support its growing pharma client demands. Additionally, Fulgent Genetics will evaluate the Tapestri Platform for applications in clinical development to streamline the drug development and approval process.
