Infor FSM | How To: Manually Create Bank Statement Lines on Imported Bank Statements

By default, you cannot add a bank statement line if a bank statement's Entry Method is Imported.

If the need arises, you can enable the Allow Line Creation On Imported Statements in the Cash Management Account.

I. Out-of-Box (Imported Statements)

Note: On this page, you will see that the Create icon in the Lines tab is not available.

II. Enable Allow Line Creation On Imported Statements

Using the Cash Administrator role, navigate to Cash Setup > Cash Management Accounts > Select the applicable Cash Management Account > Import tab > Select the Allow Line Creation On Imported Statements checkbox

Once this is enabled, you will be able to see the Create icon in the Bank Statement Lines tab as shown below.

III. Identifying which Bank Statement Lines are Manually Created

A. Personalize The Bank Statement Lines Table

In the Bank Statement Lines table, click the Actions button > Select Options > Personalize > Create > Add Field > Add Manually Created For Imported Statement.

B. Identifying Manually Created Lines

Note: The manually created line/s will have a warning icon beside the line number and the Manually Created For Imported Statement will have a value of Yes.

If this is a one-time event for this cash management account, you can always unselect the Allow Line Creation On Imported Statements and the Create button will no longer be present.
