"INFO-PINION" on Twitter since the Elon Musk acquisition

"The sky is falling" at Twitter is largely just fear & uncertainty. What is certain, $44B was just invested and it doesn't just poof away from a change in leadership. It's a valuable utility the world uses.
Twitter is the number 1 source for real-time news, conversation, reaction and opinion. When you have content or anything to post, Twitter is the only social media site that has the open-framework megaphone ability to send out a message and have it amplified by the active users.
Not everyone in the world uses Twitter to get their news and updates, but those that do use Twitter are receiving a real time feed of content and conversation that is nowhere else. Twitter users are in-the-know before anyone else.
In most cases, Twitter's upheaval has nothing to do with you, your company, your goals, and those people you are trying to reach. That Elon takeover conversation on Twitter is its own niche in its own sphere, and those interested are participating in that conversation. Marketing yourself and your company on Twitter is another sphere. This is similar to Jeff Bezos doing or saying something people dislike, and unrelated, people continue to shop on Amazon.
Twitter has 450 million active users, and this number is increasing since Elon took over the company, not decreasing. Twitter's monthly visits are in the billions and increasing too. It would be a missed opportunity for people and companies not to capitalize on this massive influx of activity.

An analogy: your Twitter profile is like a billboard on a 6-lane highway. Elon's takeover is like two lanes now under construction. Your billboard is still there, and people still use that highway to get to where they want to go.
Twitter amplifies the promotion of altruistic messages on energy & the environment, climate, entrepreneurship, the workforce, diversity & inclusion, centralized finance and much more. These users are a constant. The vast majority of Twitter users are not about to pause on their purpose and goals by leaving the platform. Where would they go?
Finally, Twitter has many innovations in the pipeline; paying creators, publishers, video makers, and entities offering value is going to attract millions of new users.
I'm biased as I'm not just an avid user of Twitter but also a service provider with my company BlockFlo Digital . But I felt it was important to share my unique perspective with our clients, partners and the broader community as there is a lot of noise and not so much clarity about Twitter's current situation and future.
Feel free to share your thoughts now and always! See you on Twitter? I'm @FuturFlo. ??
