Influential Leaders-Urgently Needed!

Influential leaders are urgently required in the market, to cope with the mega changes and uncertainities, that are happening in the workplace.

According to a recnet 360 survey done by Cigna International, 50% of UAE employees wants to leave their work. They are feeling isolated, and their priorities have changed after Covid. Theyre just doing their job, just to keep their job, and the old leadership style is not serving the purpose of leading, anymore. Many leaders still think that people will help them with their "big goal" just by being their leader, and very few know how is it really to be influential.

50% of UAE employees lost their drive, and as the market is evolving, it is inevitable that leadership style, and leaders must evolve too. The reality is that the fast paced change, didn't bring about the same pace of change in leadership.

People are in survival mode, and when someone is in survival mode, he/she is "not" looking yet for self realization, organization goals realization, and growth. Today, we are working in an enviroment where communication tools are widely available, but the real connection or rapport isn't there. If leaders want to know, why people are not as responsive as they were, I urge them to give it a thought and reflect, on "what does an influential leader really looks like, in light on the changing work enviroment".

You are about to discover a type of leaders, that is rarely available...I dont know about you, but throughout my corporate life, where I experienced more than a dozen leaders, I probably have seen only "one model" of an influential leader!

And Now lets address the important question;

How is it like to be an influential leader? how do you know if you are one?

-?People will do everything they can, to support you in achieving your big goal (colleagues at your level or your direct reports).

-??People are willing to go the extra mile for you, its important for them that you “their source of inspiration” reach your big goals.

-??You know your people, and know when something confusing is happening in their lives, they feel comfortable sharing with you their conflicts because they know you will not judge them, and you will inspire them.

-???You push people to be the best version of themselves, even when they’re going through a personal conflict.

-???You are connected with yourself, you are calm, creative and productive.

-???You have healthy boundaries.

-???You continue to improve, and you are at peace with failure, as you know you will always find a way.

-???You have clarity in your mind, most of the days. And in the days you don’t have clarity, you know how to recenter yourself.

-??You are resilient, you bounce back quickly.

-??You are empowered, and you know your strengths and weaknesses.

-??You have a high energy, and you integrate work with life. You understand that there is “a whole you” that can’t be separated at work and at home.

-??You see possibilities instead of roadblocks.

-??You are “being” more than your are “doing”.

-??You take care of yourself first, because you know you cant take care of others when you are not okay first.

-?You have certain skills, where you can notice people’s values, & what’s important to them and you communicate in a way that talks with their values. It is easy for you to influence them.

Hats off... If you are an influential leader....And... if you are not influential, yet, you can always work on your style to be even better...
