As CEO of Practice Success, LLC, Metro Collaborative, Clinical and Herbal Innovations, and owner of Villa Serena, a retreat and wellness center, Bill Dennis, M.Ed. , integrates the people and visions of these aligned companies. Each is cutting-edge in alternative medicine, practice management, marketing, and wellness. Bill serves as head consultant for Practice Success, addressing the gaps between the fragmented disciplines in the American Healthcare System. He also serves on the board of each of these three companies.
Growing up in Pittsburgh, he enjoyed all the city offered in sports, culture, and entrepreneurship. He completed a degree in psychology and humanities at Carnegie Mellon University,?worked as a biofeedback therapist, meditation teacher, and services coordinator at the Combined Therapy Program of The Himalayan Institute in Chicago, then returned to complete a Master's in Counseling Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh before heading to Manhattan to help establish the first indeed Integrative Medical practice, The Center for Holistic Medicine on 5th Ave.??
He enjoyed extensive experience as a psychotherapist and stress management consultant training while coaching executives and other professionals in Manhattan, NYC. He co-founded The Center for Holistic Medicine in 1978 with Rudolph Ballentine, MD, where their students and patients learned stress management, the importance of a plant-based diet, and meditation there. After starting a family there, he began modernizing dental and medical offices with practice management. He extended this practice into coaching physicians on improving their business models by focusing on integrative methods for success, such as 'client-centered communication.
He leads teams, offers workshops in stress management and practice building, and facilitates. He is passionate about supporting clinicians and leading our retreat program and workshops at our retreat and wellness center, Villa Serena. He also thrives on leading our team and creating success for health and wellness providers.
Now, Practice Success is an effort to introduce integrative and collaborative coaching and consulting to innovative clinicians through Metro Collaborative. He believed the time had come to 'reinvent' the health industry by creating networks of like-minded, forward-thinking, diverse individuals - starting in greater D.C. and NYC with a dozen interdisciplinary collaborative groups, striving to 'reinvent' the health industry by creating networks of like-minded, forward-thinking, diverse individuals - starting in greater D.C. and NYC with a dozen interdisciplinary collaborative dinner groups, like "Clinical Communications and Leadership" and "Leading Retreats that Succeed."
These interdisciplinary, collaborative groups expanded members and perspectives as they began working together. This offshoot project evolved into a thriving program called Metro Collaborative, attracting health professionals seeking new techniques to grow their businesses and connect with other innovators. Psychiatrists, dentists, medical specialists, and alternative practitioners seek to expand as they connect with other innovators.?

Observing the notable progress members made within these forums, it quickly became apparent that these clinical and business groups were cutting edge for problem-solving, professional solidarity, and community. Indeed, these groups provide ways for business owners, physicians, dentists, and practitioners of all disciplines to learn, connect and collaborate to create cross-referral opportunities.
Over the last few decades, he has evolved his contribution to the healthcare community, always maintaining his leadership, technology, and team building. As Vice President of the Seltzer Institute, and CEO of Coaching Solutions, a collaborative practice management firm that implemented transformation with a broad team-based approach to complex business issues in the intervening years. At The Shalom Mountain Retreats and serving as President of the Stewardship Counsel for The Center for Conscious Living and the Leadership Systems at Landmark Education.
His contributions include leadership in technology, consulting, practice management, and team building. He served twelve years as Vice President of the Seltzer Institute and ten years as President of Coaching Solutions. Throughout, he implemented a collaborative, team-based approach to transform broad complex business issues. His lectures on technology and patient care at The Academy of General Dentistry, Tufts University, NYU Dental Schools, and numerous study clubs. From serving as President of The Stewardship Counsel for The Center for Conscious Living, he learned how to lead, collaborate and provide connections.
Bill and his wife love leading and facilitating retreats, wellness programs, and workshops at their retreat and wellness Center, Villa Serena. Post-Covid, he splits his time between Maryland and The Dominican Republic, enjoying extensive workouts, swimming, tennis, and spending quality time with his sons and stepsons.
