Influencers on LinkedIn.
Influencer: One who can influence others easily. Earlier it was mainly intended as a skill. Someone who holds power may be physically, politically, or financially more influential than others. But that all things have been changed in the digital era in which we are living. Now the number of followers on different social media only matters
Society caters to influencers; same as earlier, it listens and analyzes their viewpoint. But the process of being an influencer has got corrupted to a different level of Scam. And if they get what they wanted, then many of them sell their followers for some bucks. Once, the uncle of the superhero said, “With great power comes great responsibility.” That, in short, means if you have a fan following, cater them adequately for a positive cause.
You may have argued to me that Money governs Everything, and this is a simple long-term business. I agree with this thought, and I am not at all against adding followers. We, humans, are governed by the law of importance only. I am against the wicked ways that many new so-called influencers are using to build their follower.
Facebook is losing its heat. Instagram was made for such things only. LinkedIn was still serving the soul purpose for which it has been designed, but I can see the transition from recent years. The race to have more followers has begun. Taking advantage of the present job crisis, some influencers post fake job vacancies to engage more in their posts. Exploiting the fellow unemployed youth to a different psychological level, which is already frustrated and depressed.
It’s a kind request to stop this sort of technique for gaining followers.
