Is Influence a Dirty Word?

To some, the idea of being able to influence people to do something or take an action they might not otherwise do has a negative connotation. The stereotype of the swarmy used car salesman quickly comes to mind.?

However, what if a business owner, corporate officer, or team leader wants their employees/co-workers to perform at their highest levels? What if that leader sees where the organization should be headed and wants the organization’s members to work towards a common goal-be that increased revenue, more and better clients, or the complete satisfaction of existing clients?

A leader who exhibits authenticity, trustworthiness, perseverance and who is truly charismatic, will attract like-minded people to his or her cause. People will want to work for such a leader. They will want to work for that leader because they like him/her; but, more importantly, they trust that leader and they want that leader to show them the way.?

In real life, unstoppable influence is the ability to connect with employees/co-workers or clients and inspire them and have them take action towards a common goal.?
