Inflatoplane

Something I would like to share after discovering the story of the #Inflatoplane made by the Goodyear company, the well know tyre multinational and a respected customer who's office walls were decorated by team X-Treme with catching racing images only few weeks ago. After 27 years of full time inflatable passion and a profound knowledge about the history of X-Treme's core business only last week (in the middle of the third Covid wave) I discovered the concept of dropping a packed airplane to rescue crashed military pilots behind the enemy lines. From 1950 until the early sixties on the Goodyear company made multiple flying airplane prototypes that were able to fly 600 km which should have been enough to get pilots out of hostile territory. Looks temping to give it another try just for the fun of it as there will not be any festival or trade show probably before October 2021. How much more can a great story possibly inspire #airyourviews ?
