Inflammation isn’t always bad, but when it is, you’ll ....

What is inflammation?

Inflammation?is a process by which your body's white blood cells and the things they make protect you from infection from outside invaders, such as bacteria and viruses.

Inflammation can be either short-lived (acute) or long-lasting (chronic). Acute inflammation goes away within hours or days. Chronic inflammation can last months or years, even after the first trigger is gone.

?Why is everybody avoiding it?

Cancer, Heart disease, Diabetes, Asthma, Alzheimer’s disease, sound familiar? Yeah, these terrible conditions are linked to chronic inflammation, now, inflammation does sound scary. We need this mechanism to protect and repair our body, yet, we can’t let it go out of control, causing troubles.

Arthritis and Joint Diseases: These affect approximately 350 million people worldwide and nearly 43 million people in the United States or almost 20% of the population.

How does chronic inflammation occur?

The common causes of chronic inflammation include:

1.?Autoimmune disorders, such as lupus,?arthritis,?where your immune system?attacks healthy tissue.

2.?Untreated acute inflammation, like when you get injured, the injured part of your body starts to get worse and infect the neighboring tissue, etc.

3.?Exposure to toxins like pollution and poisonous chemicals

4.?Bad habits like smoking, over-consumption of alcohol, chronic stress, lifestyles that causes obesity, etc.

How can I keep the inflammation under control?

It’s easy to develop chronic inflammation under sub-optimal health?status, to jump out from such status, we need to treat our existing health issues like high cholesterol, high blood pressure, digestive problems, etc. change our lifestyle and diets to be healthier, and manage a good stress level. These supplements can help you relief chronic inflammation:

Curcumin/CurcuPrime?

Curcumin alleviates oxidative stress, inflammation in chronic diseases through the Nrf2-keap1 pathway. Curcumin can suppress pro-inflammatory pathways related with most chronic diseases and block both the production of TNF and the cell signaling mediated by TNF in various types of cells.?

While CurcuPrime?(Tetrahydrocurcumin) is a major curcumin metabolite with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects,?and it overcomes the low bioavailability and poor solubility associated with curcumin. So, for those who don’t want to take too much curcumin, CurcuPrime is a good choice for you.

Omega3

Fish oil and flaxseed oil are 2 major sources rich in omega 3. While both DHA and EPA can reduce inflammation, a 2:1 EPA:DHA ratio seems to more effectively address inflammatory risk factors, as they work differently against chronic inflammation. A 34-week trial, led by researchers at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center found that DHA had a stronger anti-inflammatory effect than EPA, however, EPA improved the balance between pro- and anti-inflammatory proteins.

Green Tea Extract

Multiple studies have shown that green tea extract can help decrease inflammatory factors associated with chronic inflammatory. In a study of 56 obese people with high blood pressure, researchers found that those who were given green tea extract daily had significantly lower levels of C-reactive proteins.

MSM(Methylsulfonylmethane )

MSM is an organosulfur compound that is widely used as a dietary supplement for inflammatory conditions such as osteoarthritis and allergic rhinitis, It's believed that MSM inhibits NF-kB, a protein complex involved in inflammatory responses in your body, It also reduces the production of cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-ɑ) and interleukin 6 (IL-6), which are signaling proteins linked to systemic inflammation.

MitoPrime?(L-Ergothioneine)

MitoPrime??reduces chronic inflammation and inhibits “root cause”?inflammation, it inhibits the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines, interleukin IL-6 and IL-8. Pre-treatment of 3T3-L1 cells for 2h with Ergothioneine significantly inhibited the TNF-α-induced IL-6 release.

RhodioPrime??6X

Rhodiola, a widely-know botanical adaptogen has been confirmed to possess protective effects of inflammatory injury for many diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, diabetes, sepsis, and cancer. RhodioPrime??6X is the rhodiola extract that has the market-leading salidroside content - 6%.?

LetopCS?(Chondroitin Sulfate Oligosaccharide)

A Low molecular weight Chondroitin Sulfate(CS)?unlike traditional CS.?Traditional CS has high apparent viscosity and complex structure, so, it's not easy to pass through the cell membrane. In clinical application, it has problems of low bioavailability, and unstable efficacy. And CSO is to fix this.?According to the results of animal studies, conversion to 200mg/day in human dose of CSO had significantly reduced pro-inflammatory cytokines level, almost returned to the normal level.

Right Cathy Sun ....Inflammation isn't always bad because without inflammation as a physiological reaction, injuries would swell up and infections may spread to the fatal stage but yes,It can become problematic if the inflammatory process continues for too long or if the inflammatory response manifests itself in areas where it is not required... .nice share Cathy Sun
