Q1. Can you share an interesting hobby or activity that you enjoy outside of work?

I love reading both fiction and non-fiction books, especially biographies. They offer valuable life lessons and inspire you in unexpected ways. Every book teaches you something, and this is what keeps me engaged.

Q2. If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?

I would love to have dinner with three exceptional people: Mother Teresa, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and Mr. Ratan Tata. Their simplicity and selflessness are qualities I admire. They dedicated their lives to making the world better, and I'd love to learn how they stayed motivated while focusing solely on helping others.

Q3. What’s one book or movie that has had a significant impact on you?

The biography It's Not About the Bike by Lance Armstrong deeply impacted me. It narrates his battle with cancer and eventual triumph. The story taught me that nothing is impossible if you have the courage and determination to fight.

Q4. Describe a memorable moment or achievement in your personal life that you’re proud of.

There are two moments that stand out: seeing my daughter for the first time and getting my first job. Both experiences transformed my life and made me more responsible.

Q5. What has been your most unexpected career highlight at Infiniti?

An unexpected career highlight was when I transitioned from a Quality Analyst to a Business Analyst, thanks to Ananth Narasimhan ’s suggestion. This role change shaped my professional journey, and I couldn’t be prouder of my work managing a team of BAs.

Q6. Can you share a fun or surprising fact about your role that others might not know?

Communication and critical thinking are key to being a BA. What's surprising is how much the job exposes you to different accents and languages, making it a global experience without leaving your office!

Q7. What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone just starting in your field?

Don't take the role of a Business Analyst for granted. You’re not just documenting client needs – you're helping to build something important. Take pride in your work, and the fulfillment will follow when you see the finished product.

Q8. How do you stay motivated and excited about your work?

Loving what you do keeps you motivated. Even after becoming a manager, I continue to stay involved in core BA tasks. Learning from my team and managing diverse people keeps me focused and excited.

Q9. Can you describe a time when you turned a challenging situation into a success?

The most memorable challenge was during the Balmer Lawrie Auto product implementation. Despite managing client changes, team dynamics, and tough timelines, the project was a huge success, thanks to the dedication of our team.

Q10. What unique perspective do you bring as a female leader in your role?

As a female leader, multi-tasking comes naturally. I believe in empathetic leadership, where understanding your team helps guide them effectively. It’s a strength that makes us compassionate yet strong.

Q11. How has Infiniti supported and empowered you in your career journey?

Infiniti gave me the opportunity to restart my career after a break for pregnancy and childcare. They also helped me shift roles from QA to BA, recognizing my strengths and supporting my career growth.

Q12. What advice would you give to other women aspiring to leaders?

Don’t view your responsibilities as difficult. Embrace your multi-tasking abilities and always strive to be better than you were yesterday. Believe in yourself and keep balancing your personal and professional life.
