Infinite Reality to Acquire Majority Stake in Super League

Infinite Reality (iR), a leading company in AI, spatial computing, and immersive technology, has announced a major partnership with Super League Enterprise, Inc. Known for reshaping gaming as a media channel, Super League gains critical assets and growth opportunities from this collaboration.

Strategic Partnership for Digital Innovation

In the first phase, Infinite Reality will purchase 9.9% of Super League’s shares. This move brings Clark Callander, Infinite Reality’s Board Chair, onto Super League’s Board of Directors. A future transaction may follow, where Infinite Reality will acquire 75% of Super League’s shares, with an additional seat on the board. This partnership includes a commitment of up to $20 million in cash and access to a $30 million credit facility. These resources position the companies to scale operations, expand audiences, and increase revenue.

Adding Valuable Assets

Through this deal, Super League gains a worldwide license to produce events and sell sponsorships for the Drone Racing League (DRL). DRL boasts over 100 million fans across 170 countries, appealing to young, tech-savvy audiences. Super League will also acquire ownership of several Infinite Reality assets:

  • Thunder Studios: A Los Angeles production studio known for immersive content creation.
  • TalentX: A talent management firm focused on influencers and brand strategy.
  • Fearless Media: A digital agency specializing in entertainment, retail, and tech.

Together, these assets transform Super League into a complete solution for brands reaching digital-native consumers.

Leadership Perspectives on the Partnership

John Acunto, CEO of Infinite Reality, spoke on the partnership’s potential, saying, “Super League’s vast reach allows us to bring immersive media to millions more.” Super League’s CEO, Ann Hand, shared this enthusiasm, calling it a “transformative moment” that combines extensive audience reach with top-tier technology. With their combined resources, the companies aim to create digital experiences that redefine how audiences engage with brands.

Seizing the Moment in a Growing Digital World

The timing of this partnership aligns with a period of rapid growth in immersive media. Around 500 million people already use 3D worlds to shop, socialize, and play. Gen Z, for example, spends an average of 156 minutes daily on platforms like Roblox. Super League has already established itself as a leader in this space, supporting over 10,000 Roblox creators who reach more than 160 million monthly active users. By integrating Infinite Reality’s technology, Super League can offer even more robust solutions to brands.

Core Innovations to Fuel the Future

Infinite Reality will retain full control over several core technologies:

  • iR Engine: A high-performance 3D engine designed for web browsers.
  • iR Studio: A SaaS platform with low-code and no-code options for creating immersive experiences.
  • iR Enterprise Solutions: Bespoke virtual experiences for Fortune 1000 companies and governments.

These innovations allow Infinite Reality to continue leading in web-based digital media.

Financial Guidance and Forward-Looking Vision

SternAegis Ventures, part of Aegis Capital Corp., is advising Super League on this deal. Combining their strengths and resources, Infinite Reality and Super League are set to lead the immersive media space. This partnership broadens their reach and enhances their ability to provide dynamic, interactive experiences for brands focused on engaging young, digital-native audiences.
