The infinite game

The infinite game

We often get upset or beating ourselves up when we don't reach our goals in physical development. And we drop out easily when we run out of willpower.

We may not be able to lift the desired weight or lose the amount of fat in a given time.

  1. What if we could do it for the enjoyment of the game and not for reaching different levels?
  2. Will we be left behind or actually we will feel more fulfilled and achieve more in the long run if we have an infinite game mindset?

I consider training and nutrition as an infinite game, not a finite game. My practice has no ending and has no fixed rules like football or a meal plan for fat loss. I am here to move towards my vision.

I want to be able to demonstrate good movement when I am old without pain so I try to find complexity rather than extreme strength levels, I want to be as light as possible to help my joints bring me forward for a long time so I am mindful about my food choices.

A little action could bring you towards your vision every day, you don't have to put 100% all the time, this is not a race.

??Skipped a training session? No worries, go for a walk, move around a little bit.

??Broke your fast earlier than you planned to? That's fine you did something right?

??Couldn't complete your sets because you are a little bit off today? Take it easy, make sure you can come back and practice tomorrow and not break yourself because you think the coach said so!

?? Maybe if you stop thinking about reaching another goal, starting another diet and start thinking about building a strong body, and pick up some healthy habits, you could be in the game longer and sustain better health.

? Do you have a little thing you can do today to go towards your vision?
