Industry Use Cases Expert Session on Kubernetes/OpenShift .

Hey Guys !! I would like to share something amazing. Have a look ????

Just yesterday (1st March 2021) I participated a wonderful virtual session on Real Industry Use Cases with practical Demonstration on Kubernetes/OpenShift by RedHat Experts, Thanks a lot to Mr. Amel Mathai , Mr. Daleep Singh Bais (RHCA Level VIII, RHCI, RHCVA, CKA) and Mr. Abid Matoo, Mr. Vimal Daga Sir as well as Preeti Ma'am for providing such a wonderful industrial insights to us.

Let me take you through some of the things I learnt yesterday :

? K8s benefits : Increased productivity, helps in running applicable as stable, container orchestration .

? K8s challenges : complex to setup, difficult to monitor extremely large clusters .

? Container is a ready-to-run software package, containing everything needed to run an application. Essentially it is an Operating System. One of the major problem associated with container is that at the time of failure it stops and that's where container orchestration such as Docker Swarm and Kubernetes comes into picture.

? VM provides an abstract machine that uses device drivers targeting the abstract machine, while a container provides an abstract OS.

? Applications running in a container environment share an underlying operating system, while VM systems can run different operating systems .

? Docker represents as a Service Platform as it allows us to build, ship and run containers.

? Red Hat OpenShift is an enterprise-ready Kubernetes container platform with full-stack automated operations to manage hybrid cloud, multicloud, and edge deployments.

? Platform as a service (PaaS) or application platform as a service or platform-based service is a category of cloud computing services that provides a platform allowing customers to develop, run, and manage applications without the complexity of building and maintaining the infrastructure typically associated with developing and launching an app.

? Source-to-Image (S2I) is a framework that makes it easy to write images that take application source code as an input and produce a new image that runs the assembled application as output.

? A service mesh is an infrastructure layer built into an app which documents how services interact making it easier to optimize communication and avoid as application grows.

?Podman (Pod Manager) is a fully featured container engine that is a simple daemonless tool. Podman provides a Docker-CLI comparable command line that eases the transition from other container engines.

So What Are Waiting For ? Go and Start your OpenShift Journey ??.

?That's all from my side, hope this will help you in your Journey. Thanks A Lot !!!
