Industry Rallies to Save Australian Fashion Week

The Australian Fashion Council (AFC) has announced that it will be stepping in to run fashion week following the departure of IMG.

Launched in 1996, Australian Fashion Week (AFW) has become an institution for Australian businesses to get their start in the industry and showcase their designs to the world.

“The time has come for Australian fashion to be represented by those who know it best—our own community.”

Nick Scali Faces Freight Delays as Partner Collapses

In a statement posted to the ASX on Wednesday, Nick Scali advised that one of its freight forwarders and customs agents, identified as Lion Global Forwarding, has experienced operational issues and is now under the administration of a liquidator.

Legal action has been taken to resolve the freight delays caused by the collapse, but unquantifiable costs loom for Nick Scali.

Amazon Launches Low-Cost Marketplace

亚马逊 has launched a new beta in the United States that will see it take on the low-cost marketplace giants like Temu and Shein.

Amazon Haul, currently available in Amazon’s mobile app in the US only, offers a wide selection of products with a price cap of $20 USD.

"We continue to explore ways that we can work with our selling partners so they can offer products at ultra-low prices."
