Industry Leader, Mitsubishi Power, to present at Utica Midstream Conference
Today, hydrogen is center stage when talking about how best to decarbonize the power, transportation, and industrial sectors, among others. Mitsubishi Power, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, is a leader in all duration energy storage, specifically long duration storage using green hydrogen. David Alonso, Regional Vice President, New Equipment Sales, Mitsubishi Power will present at the Ninth Annual Utica Midstream Conference, on May 20, at the Holiday Inn Canton (Ohio) Belden Village to present Mitsubishi Powers vision of green hydrogen and the projects they have underway.
?This one-day program is produced by Shale Directories and the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce. “We are excited to have David Alonso from Mitsubishi Power educate our attendees on green hydrogen as it becomes a key factor in solving the climate change issues,” commented Joe Barone, President and Founder, Shale Directories.
“Hydrogen in power generation has been around for decades and excels at storing renewable energy for days, weeks, months and seasons. At Mitsubishi Power, we are developing utility-scale green hydrogen projects to decarbonize the power sector. Today, green hydrogen is a means of storing renewable power for use a later time and over time it will transition into a carbon free source of fuel,” according to Alonso.
