Industry Insights: What YOU need to know for budgeting season

Dear friends in travel,

Just as soon as Labor Day rolled around in the States, that fall crispness came into the air. Despite what the calendar may tell us (specifically that we still have a full week of summer yet), in Boston, autumn is here.

With it comes some of my favorite things: pumpkin spice lattes (yes, despite being the owner of a cafe with a focus on organic and sustainable food, I do still have a weakness for fake pumpkin flavoring, it's something I'm working on), chunky sweaters, and apple picking here in New England.

It also brings some of our less-favorite things: suddenly feeling the crunch of our calendars after a more relaxing summer, and maybe a little pressure to end this year on a high note. The Riveter recently published?a very appropriate article on boundaries. I'm sure it will resonate with a few of you.

But it's also a really exciting time. It's when many of us start thinking and planning for the year ahead, strategizing on what we want to do and achieve with our fresh start. In terms of travel, this coming year feels more promising than ever, and we're embracing planning season with open arms.

In this edition of Industry Insights, let's take a look at what's coming in 2023 -- and what you can expect along the road ahead.

Warmly,

Beth Santos | Founder and CEO
