Industrial IoT - Learnings from a Pandemic

The?Vodafone IoT Spotlight Report?(2020) identified that 84% of businesses claimed IoT was essential for their survival during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The main industry segments leading the way in IoT applications are Industrial Automation & control, home automation and artificial Intelligence. Even though Industrial automation and control being an important market for IoT, there is recognition that Industry 4.0 adoption still remains slow , mainly because of concerns on security or lack of business strategy.
