The Indonesian government showed interest in Avirtech's drones at BUMN Startup Day

Climate change and the Russian - Ukraine war will profoundly affect agriculture and food security. The world's food supply is at risk due to drought, flooding, and other extreme weather events exacerbated by climate change. In addition, the Russian - Ukraine war has impacted food distribution and price. These factors could lead to increased hunger, malnutrition, and scarcity of goods, particularly in certain countries. Undoubtedly, Indonesia faces it.

A digital ecosystem is a crucial solution to food security. In particular, Indonesia has the population and agriculture potential to support a thriving digital ecosystem, and Avirtech has the innovative technology to solve it. Through the BUMN Startup Day event, Avirtech successfully promoted sustainable farming drones and IoT, and the Indonesian government showed interest in Avirtech's drones.

A positive response from the Indonesian president?

It has been an honor for Avirtech to be invited as an exhibitor at BUMN Startup Day, 26 - 28 September 2022. We were excited to introduce our digital agriculture ecosystem to the public as we provide agricultural sector solutions with the IoT (Internet of Things) and drone technologies. We strive to increase agribusiness production and a sustainable environment while reducing production costs by applying the latest technology in the agricultural sector. At this event, we also received a positive response from Indonesia President Joko Widodo and the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises of Indonesia, Erick Tohir, when they visited our booth. Our CEO also briefly discussed with Jokowi and Erick Tohir how our drones and IoT are implemented on Indonesian plantations. In addition, our CEO also described our Aviro D15 could precious spray and read pests on plants.?

AgriTech enabler opportunity?

Fintech startups dominate the Indonesian market. In contrast, agriculture is only 4 of 100%. In fact, among the 150 exhibitors at the BUMN Startup Day, Avirtech is the only AgriTech business in existence. Avirtech has a significant space to digitalize the agriculture sector with drones and IoT systems. We believe that digital agriculture platforms can create a comprehensive ecosystem for food security by integrating different data sources. It would include plantation conditions, farmers, and retailers.?

Indonesia's digital economy will be 40% of the largest in Southeast Asia. 54% of startup founders are under 35 years old, as mentioned by Jokowi in the BUMN Startup Day ceremony. It means that young Indonesians must continue to refresh and develop existing businesses over the next few years. The digital economy is very sustainable with the lifestyle of today's young generation, who like technology. Avirtech provides an excellent opportunity for young people to develop drone technology and IoT for the digital ecosystem in agriculture. Avirtech also creates new jobs for millennials who focus on digital agriculture, such as spraying drone pilots, UAV data processing officers, and drone engineers.?
