INDIVIDUAL’S ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN COVID-19 DEPRESSION (P-1)

“And Allah has created the heavens and the earth with truth, in order that each person may be recompensed what he has earned, and they will not be wronged. Have you seen him who takes his own lust (vain desires) as his ilah (god), and Allah knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allah? Will you not then remember? And they say: "There is nothing but our life of this world, we die and we live and nothing destroys us except Ad-Dahr (the time). And they have no knowledge of it, they only conjecture.”      V-45:22-24

It is obvious that the Creator has charted a Natural system along with human beings which have impact under law of causation. As it is programmed system, all elements are interconnected with Adam’s creation. Being a rational and knowledgeable creation, under temptation, he was expelled for disobedient from paradise. Due to human exploration spirit to know the hidden secrets of universe, he has been struggling to uncover the blessed sources but in the race of power, mankind ignored the Master and his purpose of life and indulged in abuse of natural system and working against the set mission of the Creator.

Human beings are blessed with title of “Ashraful Mukhlook” but started feeling like Master in arrogance. Allah (God), being generous and merciful, graciously forgave rebels when human despite directions turn away from the Master, warned than punished through the natural system’s hurricanes, thunderstorm, tornadoes, earthquakes, catastrophes etc. as punishment on this earth for the insight of mankind etc. Adam’s generation, like him, by nature turns blind under temptations’ and selfish desires.

When privileged creatures are provided all sources and services of the universe, they take it for granted without realizing their role and responsibilities to create harmony on this earth. The more they are provided, the more they will be accountable for logically and socially to keep peace in the environment between arrogant nations and the deprived ones who remain under trials. Here the facts appear to be contradictory as the wealthy, healthy, powerful individuals and nations turn arrogant by considering their selves a special breed born a ruling class to control other sources by power, corruption and force in rule over the masses. This is the present picture of current civilized world globally.

With progress, human beings morally regress and become argumentative, abusive, trouble-makers and lazy to take responsibilities. Instead of blaming each other or debating about Divine power, one should submit and stick to obligatory duties.

In fact nobody was aware and ready to face the present catastrophe which has upset world economy, social prevailing system. The aggressive leaders still bent on political wars, add uncertainty and suffering to the public. No one give them a piece of advice to stop verbal aggression in the scared world. In fact, Allah is Master earth, sky and within the system stated in V-20:6-7,”To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. And if you speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden.  Allah! La ilahla illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the Best Names.”

It is the time to have self-analysis of attitudes, abnormal deeds done under flow of power to which people are accustomed, and seek a rational, moderate, humanistic confrontation with capitalist race, a balanced lifestyle by accepting the Almighty Immortal Provider Authority. Perhaps, world would be quite different if its inhabitants had realized about human rights and the Day of judgment of accountability of all creatures before the Great Supreme Court of Justice of this universe’s Sole Power. All the deeds we are performing that this is the only life and no one can judge us for evil deeds, we are doing only as a super, elite force and privileged class on this earth. The Sole master is Generous as if he starts catching the evil-spirits; no one will be escaped, stated in V-16:61,” And if Allah were to seize mankind for their wrong-doing, He would not leave on it (the earth) a single moving (living) creature, but He postpones them for an appointed term and when their term comes, neither can they delay nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment).”

In the present fast-moving life with tough competition to supersede each other when global challenge of COVID-19 has hold on the civilized society, people’s routine life, sources, social and procreative funds are jammed, so suicidal ideation, helplessness, aggressive moods and discontentment prevail in the masses of all ages. Psychologically, non-controlled impulses leading to variant responses like homicide, suicide, looting, burning, etc., have become a common practice. Presently, under lock-down and peak of strains, people develop variant psychosomatic ailments, neurasthenia, insomnia, hypochondria by getting involved in self-study as a self-pity state. The over-crowded spots, airports, tourist spots and roads turned into a barren place. In short, it is never late to adjust the direction of the final destination. Indeed, it is a lesson worth learning that Nature is above all and we must submit to the will of the Almighty Master by reconnecting inner-self for His thanks and follow the Divine path over the capitalist temporary craze and prepare for the accountability day where no one can take another’s burden while individually facing the Creator.

Therefore mankind is reminded through the holy books of the ultimate destination of human beings till Qimat as the worst day for the offenders in V-16:18-26,”And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And Allah knows what you conceal and what you reveal. Those whom they (Al-Mushrikun ) invoke besides Allah have not created anything, but are themselves created. (They are) dead, lifeless, and they know not when they will be raised up. Your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God Allah, none has the right to be worshipped but He). But for those who believe not in the Hereafter, their hearts deny (the faith in the Oneness of Allah), and they are proud. Certainly, Allah knows what they conceal and what they reveal. Truly, He likes not the proud. And when it is said to them: "What is it that your Lord has sent down?" They say: "Tales of the men of old!" They will bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection, and also of the burdens of those whom they misled without knowledge. Evil indeed is that which they shall bear! Those before them indeed plotted, but Allah struck at the foundation of their building, and then the roof fell down upon them, from above them, and the torment overtook them from directions they did not perceive.                                        Cont..
