Nifty extended its longest losing streak, falling for the 10th consecutive session, slipping 37 points to 22,083, while Sensex declined 96 points to 72,990. However, broader markets outperformed, with the Midcap Index gaining 24 points to 48,008. Nifty Bank closed in the green, rising 131 points to 48,245, supported by SBI and HDFC Bank.

Sectoral Highlights:?Media and PSU Banks gained, while Auto declined 1.56% and IT slipped 0.90%.
