India's Next Superstars Episode 14

This episode was aired on 25 Feb 2018 (Sunday) and the same theme from episode 13 was continued.

Spotlight challenge winner Mehrotra depicted the mythological character of [[Karna]]. His stance, posture, style and dialogue delivery was appreciated by the judges and Mehrotra scored a perfect ten for this act. This was his third spotlight performance. Bharadwaj played the role of his mother [[Kunti]]. The act appeared larger than life on the screen with the sheer brilliance of Mehrotra’s skills. Shetty stated that even after the act is over; it is giving him goosebumps due to the war kind of environment. The audience, judges and Sinha gave standing ovation. Sinha said that she felt that she is watching a magnum opus and the act was too short. She wanted to see it for a long time.

Singh played the role of a school teacher and Bagri played the iconic role of [[Circuit]] from the blockbuster movie [[Munna Bhai M.B.B.S]] (Originally played by [[Arshad Warsi]]). The child actor Nihaar Gite played the role of Circuit’s son, ‘’short circuit.’’ This comedy act made everyone laugh and Singh got a score of seven and Bagri got seven too. Bagri stated that he has worked with Sinha in a shoot. He also requested Sinha to perform a little with him, and she was happy to oblige.

Nanda played the role of [[Yama (Hinduism)]] and Prajapati played the role of granny named Imarti. The child artist [[Preetjyot Singh]] played the role of her grandson. This funny act was quite entertaining and gave Nanda a score of eight. Shetty stated that Nanda’s entry on a cycle with a prototype of bull (Yama’s vehicle) was amazing on the music of [[Dhoom]].

After the guys, it was time for the girls to compete against each other in a dance-off. Prajapati scored four, Singh scored four, Bharadwaj scored five, Sharma scored four, Kapur scored three and Krislinzki scored three respectively. The judges gave constructive feedback and Johar stated that the girls were looking very glamourous and from now on they will be stricter with their scoring parameters. Johar said that Bhardwaj’s performance was outstanding and her posture was amazing.

The guys also danced with Sonakshi Sinha on stage on her popular song ‘’Tere mast mast do nain.’’ Sonakshi brought in singer Dhwani Bhanushali on the show from her movie [[Welcome to Newyork]].

The fairytale of Jasmine (Played by Krislinzki) and Aladdin (Played by Vali) created a wow factor with an aerial dance on the popular song ‘’Yeh haseen wadiyan’’ from the movie [[Roja]]. The child artist [[Raj Ostwal]] played the role of a genie. However, the judges were expecting more from Krislinzski and gave her only six points (Lowest). Vali too got six points and later was eliminated from the show. So guess, the appearance of the genie was not that lucky for them.

The actors were asked what wishes they have which the genie can fulfill. Prajapati’s wish was fulfilled and her mother gave a surprise visit and made the environment a little emotional.

All the kids got very good comments from the judges.

Vali was the lowest scorer among the male contestants. Kapur and Krislinzki were the lowest scorers among the female contestants. Finally Vali and Kapur were eliminated. Vali stated that he feels relaxed now. He shared his story that last year he had gone for an audition for Johar’s movie ‘’Student of the Year part 2’’ and he thought he was good, and was expecting to bag the role. Now after spending so many days in the academy, he has realized his areas of improvements. Also he managed to steal 35 minutes of Johar’s time while presenting his acts. Johar invited him to come and have a cup of coffee with him in his office. He thanked Shetty for inspiring him. Kapur stated that when you try and fail, you fall forward, not backward.
