INDIA'S LOSS IN WC-19 SF AGAINST NZ -DECODED

It is easy to console oneself, by saying, WHEN TWO TEAMS ARE PLAYING ,ONE HAS TO LOOSE AND ON A PARTICULAR DAY WHOSOEVER PLAYS GOOD CRICKET, HAS TO WIN. BUT,
If one analyzes the loss a bit more critically.the reasons are obvious,
1. Absence of Kuldeep & Sami on a bowler friendly wicket,
2. Fishing or poking the ball outside the off stump to glide it to third-man for a single, ( both the openers got out that way) on a bowler friendly wicket. Fault of the Batting Coach & Head coach.
3. Viraat Kohli's weakness on sixth or seventh stump bowling & to incoming deliveries of left arm seamers. Fault of the Batting Coach & Head coach.
4. What was the battery of Coaches doing, the batting coach , bowling coach and head coach. They should have advised the batsmen on how to play on a Bowler friendly wicket and correct Kohli's weaknesses. If Viraat would have taken a Middle Stump guard along with his usual leg stump, and seen that his front foot does not cross the middle stump, the LBW decision could have been avoided. against incoming deliveries from left arm seamers like Trent Boult, Fault of the Batting Coach & Head coach.
5. Only, the so called " bits & pieces" of a player , as called by Sanjay Manjrekar, was the Golden Line,
6. Both Pant & Pandya got out by playing reckless strokes, which were uncalled for at that point of the match.Fault of the Batting Coach & Head coach.
7. MSD is finished, at 38, he should retire now. Sami would have been a better choice on that pitch, Where as Karthick & Pant could have to kept the wickets.
9. Viraat seems to be bogged down in tournament like this ,under the burden of captain-ship. which is affecting his batting too, the world's best batsman could not make a couple of centuries in 10 WC matches, is the proof.Ironically, he could not ever win an IPL too as Captain. is another proof. I think Rohit Sharma should have given the responsibility of Captainship, He is a flamboyant Batsman, 5 Centuries and a couple of 50s in this WC , which is the record in itself. He has won the Asia Cup and 3 IPLs for Mumbai Indians is a proof of his leadership.
10. Over all I feel It is an overall failure of the Coaching & Playing Systems that has costed us the SF in this WC-2019. May be Complacency too. Otherwise NZ were never a great team to play in the Final of a major tournament . like WC.
Now one may console himself by saying whatever one feels.
