India's Draft Deeptech startup policy - HR & Capability Building



Through this blog, I share a consolidation map of a particular section under India’s Draft DeepTech (DT) startup policy – Human resource & Capability building that proposes some of the valuable actions on DT Talent, Skills and how to build the HR Capability building. ?Also, I studied some of the Deeptech HR & Capability Building practices of some of the countries that lead the DT startup Ecosystem.

Some points that I had noticed from the global practice , includes

  • Almost all the countries give more emphasis on Talent and capability development at the University Level. Probably they believe that HEI or the research institutes are the best source to bring Deeptech/Hardtech startups
  • Best utilization of the word-world “Open”. ?Open Science, Open source, Open Talent, Open Innovation are largely mainstream focus to build Capability building & capability sustenance
  • Focus on Faculty/Professor skill development program on DT who in turn can be an evangelist to create more DT startup talents
