India’s Biggest Career Fair for Women Returnees is Coming to Bangalore This September!

At JobsForHer, we’re on a mission to bring every woman on a career break back to work in India. In a little over two years, we’ve partnered with 3000+ companies and have 1.5 lakh visitors to our portal every month. We’ve come a long way from our humble beginnings, and we’re hungry for more.

That’s why we’re so excited about our first major event - RestartHer, India’s biggest conference and career fair - an opportunity for companies to connect with experienced and qualified women returnees who are available to join at no notice period!

Coming to Bangalore on 16th September 2017, at MLR Convention Centre in Whitefield.

This is a one-of-a-kind event in India, because it focusses on women who want to return to work after a career break. We’re opening the door for companies to access this amazing talent pool - available at no notice period, and waiting to jump back in, feet first.

More than just a career fair, RestartHer is a conference with workshops, panel discussions, mentoring sessions and much more for women returnees and companies.

The first half of the day will also feature a curated collection of panel discussions, where companies can nominate key influencers and senior leaders. This is a great opportunity for companies to lead the discussion on diversity and inclusion, and reach out to women returnees directly.

The panel discussions will be followed by breakout sessions, where women can interact with companies in smaller groups. Companies can also nominate senior leaders to mentor women returnees at RestartHer. Mentoring is an excellent opportunity to inspire women returnees, and guide them on their exciting journey back to work.

Participating in RestartHer is your company’s chance to help women reskill, give them career advice and tips on what companies are looking for from women returnees. It’s also THE place to hire women returnees, as 3000+ women are expected to attend through the day. You can nominate senior leaders from your company, and send your HR and Talent Acquisition representatives.

All in all, this is the time and place for your company to come forward and join us in our mission to bring more women back to work. Contact Kirthi Ponnappa - [email protected] TODAY to find out how you can be a part of it!

This is an absolute necessity in India now. Half of the eligible workforce in India, are idle because they are finding it difficult to return to work, and this project would probably bridge that gap. Companies are still thinking it as a taboo for recruiting the people with career break, in-spite of candidates having good skills for the job. That mindset should change. Also, companies should try to be flexible in offering part time/half day jobs to women ( of course, for lesser salary than full time job), since many women in India are ready to take up such jobs since it gives them very good work-life balance. It would be win-win for both side.
